01 / DIRECT ANSWER
Choose one of four competition-state operations
Use Standings for table values, Fixtures for one date or one exact score, and Match-Fixing for a team that should keep winning or losing Quick Sims. Back up first; these controls do not own a match you play.
Home/Away values · played total conserved · auto-saved row.
Exact row · proposed date/time · fixture form Save.
Both sides at 0 or above · fixture form Save.
Favourite/Disliked · priority · auto-saved rule.
02 / OWNERSHIP MODEL
Table, fixture and team rule are different objects
“Fix the result” is ambiguous. Resolve the owner before touching a value.
Wins, draws, losses and visible totals.
AUTO-SAVED VALUEOne editable upcoming row.
FORM SAVEFavourite or Disliked plus priority.
AUTO-SAVED VALUE03 / INTERACTIVE STATE CONTROL
Stop the wrong mode before opening the editor
This local planner validates documented scope, table conservation and Quick Sim boundaries. It never connects to FC 26, predicts an unpublished calendar rule or exposes a fake game Save button.
Competition State Control
Classifies edits · writes no Career data
Prove the Career owns this state
Model the change before the write
W + D + L must stay equal; every value remains inside 0–100.
Close the correct persistence lane
The selected operation is inside the documented local constraints. Complete the recovery receipt.
Repair standings · CAREER04 / EXACT ENTRY ROUTE
Every lane begins at the exact loaded Career and team
Run Live Editor → load the intended Career → F9 → Features → Teams → exact team → Edit. Only then choose the object that owns the change.
- 01Backup slot
Copy the Career before competition edits.
- 02Compatible pair
Match FC26.exe to the Live Editor release.
- 03Exact Career
Load the save that should receive the change.
- 04Exact team
Confirm ID, competition and target row.
- 05Correct tab
Standings, Fixtures or Match-Fixing.
05 / COMPETITION SCOPE
Editable does not mean every team in every league
The published scope is Career teams that participate in the same competitions as the managed team, plus European cups.
Domestic competition state shared with your club.
Explicitly added by the creator.
A visible team elsewhere is not an authorization.
Some non-Manager modes may fail; online modes are excluded.
06 / STANDINGS ROUTE
Edit the Home or Away component, then prove Overall
Standings → Competition Name → Home or Away → minus/plus. The official image displays Overall, Home and Away; the written write path names Home/Away.
Select the exact league or European competition.
Choose the component carrying the error.
Change one documented value at a time.
Inspect the derived table after reload.
07 / CONSERVATION MATH
Wins plus draws plus losses must keep the same played total
This is the creator’s explicit corruption guard. A plausible position is not enough if the row now claims extra matches.
08 / WRITE VS PROOF SURFACES
Home and Away are writes; Overall and the Career table are receipts
Do not infer a direct Overall-edit contract merely because an Overall tab is visible.
One half of the table record.
The other half of the record.
Position, P, W, D, L, GF, GA, GD and PTS.
Same competition and same played total.
09 / PERSISTENCE NUANCE
Automatic value save is not the end of the recovery receipt
The specific sections say Standings and Match-Fixing auto-save without confirmation. The generic footer of the same Wiki still says Team → Save, then save the Career.
No per-row Standings or rule confirmation.
Conservative use of the page-wide team instruction.
Write to the intended slot.
Prove table, calendar or sim behavior.
10 / FIXTURE FORM
Identify one row before editing its date or score
Fixtures → exact row Edit. Record opponent, competition, current score state, date and time before opening the form.
11 / RESCHEDULE BOUNDARY
League rescheduling is supported; cup rescheduling is discouraged
The date controls expose day, month, year, hour and minute, but the creator publishes no collision detector or guaranteed safe date window.
Change the date in the fixture form, Save, then inspect the Career calendar.
Bracket and round dependencies are not documented as repairable.
12 / ONE EXACT RESULT
Both team scores must be zero or above
The official form uses a negative inactive state. Setting only one side is not a valid exact-result instruction.
≥ 0
≥ 0
Use the real fixture form Save.
13 / QUICK SIM HARD BOUNDARY
A played match is outside this result contract
The creator repeats “Work only for Quick Simmed games” for Fixtures and Match-Fixing. Do not treat this as a live-score or gameplay control.
Single fixture score or team-wide outcome rule.
Separate owners and no published carry-over.
14 / TEAM-WIDE MATCH-FIXING
Favourite and Disliked are future Quick Sim rules
Use this lane when the intent is repeated team behavior, not one exact 2–1 fixture.
Team-wide outcome direction.
Team-wide outcome direction.
15 / PRIORITY & UNKNOWN FIELDS
Priority resolves clashes; goal-field semantics remain unpublished
When multiple liked/disliked teams meet, the higher-priority rule controls the conflict. The screenshot also shows Goals Scored and Goals Conceded, but the written Wiki gives no range or exact definition.
Northbridge Athletic
Riverton FC
16 / LIVE START & COMPLETED STATE
Loaded Career repair does not rewrite the source season or a finished bracket
Current users search after Live Start tables disagree or after a cup team is already eliminated. Those are different state owners.
The documented Team Editor target.
EA-owned source data, not this loaded-state workflow.
README says upcoming; cup rescheduling is not recommended.
17 / RECOVERY & PROOF
Keep the backup until arithmetic, calendar and simulation agree
The proof depends on the operation. A Save action alone proves none of the downstream state.
- 01Before
Slot, version, team, competition and target snapshot.
- 02Write
Correct tab and smallest possible change.
- 03Save lane
Auto/form Save, generic Team Save, Career Save.
- 04Reload

- 05Verify

18 / VIDEO EVIDENCE
Search promises “fix results” but rarely names the owner
Four fresh searches returned 60 slots and 49 unique videos. Results mixed installation, older FC 25 UI, broad mod showcases, tournaments and unrelated football clips; none documented the complete current four-operation safety contract.
Useful Live Start and AI-result motivation; official Wiki supplies scope and Quick Sim limits.
14:39 / FC 25Team-wide biasLegacy mental model only; rejected as FC 26 authority.
An FC 26 v26.1.4 showcase yielded no usable spoken procedure.
Install guides, tournaments, mod managers and generic realism content classified.
19 / FAQ
Competition-state questions, answered by object ownership
01Can FC 26 Live Editor edit league standings?+
Yes, in Career Mode for teams in the same competitions as the managed team, plus European cups. Use the Standings tab, the competition, then Home or Away.
02What values can I change in Standings?+
The screenshot shows P, W, D, L, GF, GA, GD and PTS. The written procedure says to use the Home/Away plus-minus controls, remain between 0 and 100, and preserve the played-match total when changing W/D/L.
03Why must W + D + L stay unchanged?+
Those three values account for played matches. The creator explicitly warns to preserve their original total; 0/0/3 may become 3/0/0, not 100/0/0.
04Do Standings changes need a Save button?+
The specific Standings section says values auto-save with no confirmation. The same Wiki later gives Team → Save as the generic team-edit exit, followed by saving the Career; this guide keeps both statements visible.
05Can I move a fixture to another date?+
Yes, for an eligible Career fixture through Fixtures → exact row Edit. The creator supports league rescheduling and says cup rescheduling is not recommended.
06How do I set an exact Quick Sim result?+
Open the exact fixture, set both home and away score values to 0 or above, then use the fixture form Save.
07Does fixture match-fixing work for a match I play?+
No documented promise covers a played match. The creator says the Fixtures and Match-Fixing workflows work only for Quick Simmed games.
08What is Ref’s Favourite?+
A team-wide Match-Fixing rule that makes the team win its Quick Simmed games.
09What is Ref’s Disliked?+
A team-wide Match-Fixing rule that makes the team lose its Quick Simmed games.
10What does Match-Fixing priority do?+
It resolves clashes when multiple liked or disliked teams meet; the creator says the higher-priority rule wins the conflict.
11Can I repair a completed cup bracket?+
No supported workflow was found. The README says upcoming games, the Wiki discourages cup rescheduling, and completed fixtures may not expose an Edit control.
12When were these features added?+
The official changelog lists League Standings, Fixtures and Match-fixing under Live Editor v26.1.7.
